A Beginners Guide to Painting – Painting by Warhammer

My partner and I attended a Warhammer painting session at the Games Workshop in Sydney while waiting for a train. The workshop taught us miniature painting basics, including tools, techniques, and brush care using Citadel products. We chose to paint a Stormcast Eternal Vindicator, learning how to thin paints and apply layers. The staff was helpful, allowing us to correct mistakes and experiment with techniques like washing and tinting. Despite some areas lacking, like basing and color creativity, the free workshop was thoroughly enjoyable and educational. The overall review has allowed me to view all other paints in a different manner, using them outside their intended application.
